Op Shop News

Here’s some good news!  Our Op Shop is Re-Opening on Wednesday November 4th! Op Shop volunteers met this morning and agreed on a number of important measures to make the shop COVID safe. This includes a limit of 6 customers in the shop at any one time, using one entrance only (park end), changes to the layout of shelves and stock as well as other requirements. The shop will be accepting donations from Monday November 2nd. Please pray for a good opening and that our volunteers and customers will be able to keep to the rules and stay safe.

News from Amos and Doreen in Darwin

Amos has been appointed to the position of Pastor by the Northern Regional Council of Congress which is a group of 28 Aboriginal congregations in the Uniting Church.  He will continue to teach at Nungalinya College in Darwin where he will now also be responsible for the pastoral care of the Uniting Church students. Amos will be commissioned to this ministry on Sunday Nov.29th. He asks us to continue to pray for him, Doreen (who works alongside him with the students), and for Kenny and Narelle.
