Update on Pastor Martin

While helping his daughter and son-in-law move house on Saturday afternoon,  Martin slipped off a trailer and badly sprained an ankle and wrist. He is now recovering at home wearing a moon-boot and a bandaged wrist. He is unable to drive and will be off work for at least one week. Martin apologies that he was unable to complete his work on the youTube Sunday Service for today. Today is Pentecost Sunday. If you would like to read today’s Bible passages, they are:  Acts 2:1-21 and John 20:19-23. Please pray for a Martin’s speedy recovery.

Martin injured

Please pray for him. The Sunday Service he has prepared is not quite ready to be sent to YouTube so will be late.  You will receive an email probably tomorrow afternoon advising when it will be ready to view.

National Reconciliation Week (NRW) Resources

Reconcilation is at the heart of our lives and our message as followers of Jesus and members of his church, so NRW is an invitation to consider our role in the process of reconcilation with our Aboriginal brothers and sisters. At the very least we can pray and we can educate ourselves in order to put ourselves in the shoes of indigenous people. Here is a link to a whole range of resources to help in these important tasks. https://www.eternitynews.com.au/australia/national-reconciliation-week-2020-resources-in-this-together/?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=ENW29052020&utm_content=ENW29052020+CID_5d7b568cd9f341b09041602827f6a9fc&utm_source=Email&utm_term=National%20Reconciliation%20Week%202020%20resources%20In%20This%20Together
